Win Maynard's Projects

Back to Projects

My Level III project, scheduled to fly at Black Rock in July, but not unless I get to work!! It is a modified DYNACOM SCORPION. It will be powered by an Aerotech 75mm M1315W. Early calcs(guesstimates based on similar data)indicate 15,000' can be obtained. The original kit is 80", we have given her the old stretch treatment, out to 105", with a generous electronics bay, a nosecone payload for a live feed(ham) TV camera set-up, and nose weight, and seperate chute sections for dual deployment. I can't say enough about DYNACOM, and the quality. WOW!!

Dry weight should be around 11lbs+. We'll see! Like me, my rockets usually weigh a bit more than they should! I'll post more pics as construction starts.
