60 Acres park is the only public land available to fly model rockets without a waiver. (Model rockets only, not high power).

From Interstate 405, either northbound or southbound, take the NE 124th St. exit (marked for Totem Lake Mall, but be sure to take the option for 124th St. itself if presented). Go east on NE 124th until you come to a light at the bottom of a short steep hill; turn right there, then left at the next light onto NE 116th. Go about 1/4 mile and look for launch pads and rocketeers; depending on the weather and the field conditions, we may be set up near the line of poplars at the west end of the polo field (which is on the south side of the road) or at the extreme east end of the field, as close as possible to the upper parking lot there.

From State Route 520, take the first Marymoor Park exit, then turn left at the bottom of the ramp and go under the highway. Proceed up the hill to Redmond Way, turn left and immediately right onto Willows Rd. Follow Willows Rd. north to the light at NE 116th, turn right, and proceed as above.
